Easy Weeknight Fried Rice Recipe
Weeknights are always super busy for us, so I’m always looking for easy recipes that are quick. I like this healthy fried rice recipe since it incorporates vegetables with rice and eggs for protein. Ingredients: 3 cups cooked white rice 3 Tablespoons sesame oil (or vegetable oil) – I find Sesame Oil gives it more of the taste of a Chinese Restaurant 1 cup frozen peas and carrots (thawed) 1 small onion, chopped 2 teaspoons minced garlic 2 eggs, slightly beaten 3-4 Tablespoons soy sauce Directions: 1. On medium high heat, heat the oil in a large skillet or wok. Add the peas/carrots mix, onion and garlic. Stir fry until tender. 2. Lower the heat to medium low and push the stir fry off to one side, then pour eggs on the other side

Here is a fun 4th of July and Memorial Day Weekend drink! It is an easy recipe to make so the kids can get involved and make some drinks for the whole family! Pour the drink with the most sugar (check the nutrition label) into the glass. Festive 4th of July or Memorial Day Red White and Blue Strawberries
A tradition in my house are patriotic white chocolate dipped red white and blue strawberries! YUM!These only take about 10 minutes at the most and my son can do almost all of it on his own! He loves that he can take credit for making the entire thing!They look so festive and fun and no one suspects haw simple they are to make!All you need is a container of strawberries, 1 bottle blue sugar sprinkles and 1 bag white chocolate chips.Melt the chocolate chips and dip the strawberries in the melted chocolate. Paprika Oven Roasted Potatoes Recipe
We love potatoes in our house, and there are so many ways to make them – fried, baked, mashed, and more. One of our favorite recipes is to cut up potatoes into cubes, sprinkle with olive oil and paprika and bake them – super yummy! Ingredients: Potatoes (Idaho or Yellow) – about 1 potato per person 1 tablespoon Olive Oil Regular or Smoked Paprika (to taste) Directions: Cut up the potatoes into cubes.
