Kid’s Recipe: Patriotic Drink

Here is a fun 4th of July and Memorial Day Weekend drink! It is an easy recipe to make so the kids can get involved and make some drinks for the whole  family! I think this is such a super cute, super easy way to bring color to the table!IngredientsIce cubesCranberry juiceWild Berry flavor GatoradeDiet 7-UpInstructionsFill a clear glass with ice cubes. Pour the drink with the most sugar (check the nutrition label) into the glass. For our red, white, and blue recipe, start with the cranberry juice.Very slowly add a beverage that contains less sugar — in this case, Wild Berry flavor Gatorade Fierce. Be careful to pour it onto an ice cube — not directly into the other drink — to keep them

Patriotic Jello Cups

There is something about the summer that screams “Jello” to me. I do like Jello, but it seems that I never eat it when it is cold outside – only in warm weather. I’m sure there is some reason for it…eh – no biggie! Anyway, as the saying goes “there’s always room for Jello” and if you have a party to attend this summer, you can wow your friends and family with these Patriotic Jello Cups! They taste great and are very easy to make (certainly they have fewer steps that my Rainbow Jello Squares recipe!) You can top this with some homemade whipped cream, but that might mess up the look with the cherry stem poking out of the top
